“I started to lose my hair at the age of 25 during a particularly stressful time in my life. Over the course of a year, I progressed from alopecia areata onto alopecia totalis and, eventually, alopecia universalis. At the start of my journey, I often found myself turning to the Alopecia UK website for information on my condition, which was sadly lacking elsewhere. The work Alopecia UK does is so important and I’m not sure how I would have coped without the information and advice at such a difficult time.

I am looking forward to playing my part in supporting the work of this amazing charity, so that those of us affected by alopecia realise we are not alone and can live the best lives possible."
