“I lost my hair when I was 17 and at that time there was hardly any information about causes and treatment, and very little support available. Alopecia UK is a fantastic charity, offering so much of the help, support and advice I wish I’d had at that really difficult time. I was keen to be involved in any way and was over the moon to join the board of trustees. I want to help spread the word of the amazing work that the charity does so we can reach those who most need support and information, and ensure that anyone affected by alopecia knows they are not alone.”
