Other ways to give

If you, or someone close to you, has found the information and support we provide useful, making a donation to Alopecia UK will help us continue and expand our work to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia.  Our work revolves around our aims of Support, Awareness and Research.

The simplest way to make a regular or one-off donation is by credit/debit card, using our Donate form.

Alternatively, these are the other ways you can make a donation to Alopecia UK.

By Cheque

Please send any cheques (made payable to Alopecia UK) to:

Alopecia UK
PO Box 341
Shipley
BD18 9EH

If sending a cheque, please also return a completed Money Return Form or include details in an accompanying letter.

If you are sending a cheque in respect of an individual donation AND you are a UK taxpayer, please also complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form which will allow us to claim an additional 25% from the Government. It really does add up so please do complete one if you are a UK taxpayer.

If the cheque relates to collected sponsorship monies, please include copies of the sponsorship forms too.

Via your Bank

If you wish to make a payment directly into our account, you can arrange a bank transfer via your online banking. Please contact us for our bank details.

If you are paying in fundraising monies and wish to receive an acknowledgement from us, you will also need to return a completed Money Return Form or include details in an accompanying letter.

Via Standing Order

If you would like to set up a regular monthly standing order payment to Alopecia UK, please complete this Standing Order Form and return it to us. Standing Orders are a great way to make a regular donation. You stay in control of the payments to us and we will never pester you to increase your standing order payment.

If you do not have access to a printer, we are happy to put a form in the post to you. Please email [email protected] to request a copy.

By Text

You can text "AUK" to 70085 to donate £10 to Alopecia UK today. This costs £10 plus the cost of a standard rate message. Alternatively, you can opt to give any whole amount up to £20; e.g. text "AUK15" to 70085 to donate £15.

Online Shopping

Did you know there is a way to donate to Alopecia UK, simply by shopping online? Sign up to Easyfundraising.com and each time you shop online with a qualifying retailer, a donation can be made to Alopecia UK at no extra cost to you.

Most major retailers are signed up so if you do shop online, please consider signing up today!

Payroll Giving

One of the simplest ways to donate to Alopecia UK is to set up a regular donation from your salary. By completing this online form, a deduction of an amount of your choosing will be taken from your salary and paid directly to Alopecia UK.

The benefit of donating to Alopecia UK this way is for every £1 donated, it only costs a basic rate tax payer 80p or a higher rate tax payer 60p.

Legacies

Leaving a gift to Alopecia UK is a very moving way to be remembered and means your support lives on. Every gift, whether big or small, is extremely valuable to us and by those diagnosed with alopecia.  Please consider leaving a legacy in your will.

Corporate Support

There are many levels at which you can involve your business or colleagues in fundraising – from holding a cake stall or ‘dress-down day’ through to sponsorship of one of our events. If you’d like to discuss the options, or suggest new ones, then we’d love to hear from you.
