Please note that our Support Group Leads are volunteers and do this in their spare time, as such please allow up to a week for replies to emails.

Judith's link with alopecia: Hi, I'm Judith and I started to notice that my hair was becoming thinner about 5 years ago but it wasn't until just over a year ago that I was able to get some support and was diagnosed with frontal fibrosing alopecia. I now now wear a wig. I have found accepting my hairloss distressing, sad and quite a lonely place to be, and it really sapped my confidence. I came to realise that alopecia is not talked about enough and, as it can be a lonely journey, I want to support others in a safe place where we can  share experiences and connect with others who know how we feel.
