We're exploring the idea of launching a brand-new fundraising walk for the alopecia community—and we'd love your help shaping it.

The vision is to bring our community together for a sponsored walk, with a choice of different route lengths to suit different abilities. As well as raising vital funds to support Alopecia UK's work, we hope it will be a chance for people affected by alopecia to spend time outdoors, connect with others who understand and enjoy a welcoming, inclusive and fun day together.

Alongside the walk itself, we'd hope to create a friendly event atmosphere with a registration area, warm-up activities, refreshments and opportunities to connect with other members of the alopecia community.

If we create a new fundraising event, we want to get it right from the start. That's why we're asking for your honest feedback while the idea is still taking shape. Whether you'd be first to sign up, have suggestions that would make the event even better or don't think it's something you'd take part in, we'd love to hear your thoughts and will value all feedback received. Every response will help shape our next steps.

If there's enough interest, we would aim to launch the first event at one location during 2027, with the potential to introduce additional locations and virtual participation in the future should there be sufficient interest.
