News & Events News Alopecia UK Children's Events Calendar At Alopecia UK we know how important it is to get the opportunity to meet other people experiencing alopecia face to face. It allows chances for new communities and friendships to be made, it enables an environment where you can feel comfortable and be completely yourself, and it provides spaces to both share and gain support, advice and information from those who understand. We’ve already hosted a few wonderful events this year, our Big Weekend Conference in Birmingham and our trip to Alton Towers, and we’re excited to have more on the cards! Thanks to some amazing funding from the National Lottery some areas of the UK will see some additional children’s events running throughout 2023. We appreciate these do not cover all areas of the UK, the funding is quite prescriptive about where the money can be spent and as such we are focusing on these areas for now. Below is a bit more information on other events we have upcoming this year so far….
