In 2026, I’m taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to raise funds for Alopecia UK — a charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone affected by alopecia.

Alopecia can have a huge emotional and psychological impact, and Alopecia UK provides vital support to help people feel less isolated. They offer impartial information, online and in-person peer support, raise awareness among the public and healthcare professionals, and fund important research into the causes of alopecia and potential treatments.

Their work helps people regain confidence, find community, and feel understood — and I’m proud to run in support of a charity that makes such a meaningful difference.

My goal is to raise £1,500, and every donation, no matter the size, will help Alopecia UK continue their amazing work. Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world. Lyndsay McEwan
