Alopecia UK is a small charity working to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. I have had alopecia since I was 2, I don't remember having hair. So I grew up without hair. This meant that kids could be mean at school or act sorry for me.
Even now I can't go out without being stared at everywhere and people thinking I have cancer when I don't.
I want there to be more awareness around alopecia and to be able to go out without being stared at. Alice Gilham
