With 40 years’ experience in supporting people going through their journey our staff are here to emphasise and talk through your choices. We specialise in the comprehensive supply of wigs and headwear to both private and NHS customers throughout East Anglia and the UK. Whether you have recently experience hair loss due to alopecia, chemotherapy or other health conditions we can recommend the perfect wig or hairpiece to suit your personal situation.

We supply and stock both human hair and synthetic wigs along with an extensive range of headwear and hair products. Frobishers also offer specialist services including size alteration, a full cutting service with a qualified hairstylist and custom made.

Alopecia Areata

Alopecia Areata is thought to be an autoimmune condition that causes hair to fall out, usually in usually in round or oval patches on the scalp or other places on the body that grow hair, such as the beard, eyebrows or eyelashes. Types of Alopecia Areata include Patchy Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, Alopecia Universalis, Alopecia Barbae, Diffuse Alopecia Areata and Alopecia Ophiasis.

Androgenetic Alopecia (Pattern Hair Loss)

With Telogen Effluvium more hairs than usual move into the telogen (resting) phase and shed, so you may notice more hair falling out than usual. Telogen Effluvium is often caused by a physical or psychological trigger and often resolves itself spontaneously.
