We are thrilled to welcome a new staff member to the Alopecia UK team. Sarah Bell joins as our new Volunteer Manager. 

Sarah will be working hard to support all our wonderful volunteers, including our brilliant Support Group Leaders, and will work closely with our Events Manager Naomi to ensure we have the help we need to provide our events, such as Big Weekend next month and Alton Towers in April. 

Sarah says:

"I am so excited to join Alopecia UK as Volunteer Manager. Having first experienced alopecia at a time when support and awareness were severely lacking and before Alopecia UK existed, it is so inspiring and comforting to see how much is now on offer from the charity. I know just how vital volunteers are to small charities and my new colleagues tell me that AUK is lucky to have some wonderful volunteers. I am looking forward to getting to know and supporting those already volunteering with us, and hopefully finding some new volunteers too"
