September is Alopecia Awareness Month. I am supporting Alopecia UK by becoming an AUK Charity Champion, raising awareness and funds so that more people are aware and educated with our condition, I myself have struggled with Alopecia for many years, from being 13 years old I tried my best to hide my patches cause I was scared of what others would think! But as I have gotten older and I have accepted the condition I feel the need to spread awareness so others with the condition don’t feel alone and know that there are others out there just like ourselves… Hair doesn’t define beauty and it doesn’t define who we are as people cause with hair with patches missing, No hair at all or a full head or hair we are all still beautiful in our own way!

Alopecia UK is a small charity working to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. The charity has aims around Support, Awareness and Research.

Alopecia UK relies on the support of fundraisers and donors to continue the valuable work it does. Thank you for supporting me with my fundraising efforts. I really appreciate your support and so does Alopecia UK!
