• How does Self-Esteem, Social Media Usage, Social Comparison and Participation of Online Support Groups Impact Body Image Among People with Alopecia? - participants needed to share experiences of social media usage and participation in online support groups
• Can a one-week online writing intervention improve body image in adults with a skin condition? - participants needed for questionnaires and short writing tasks.
• The social dynamics of facial appearance - participants needed to share experiences of having a visible difference
• Understanding experiences of alopecia in educational settings - participants needed to share details of the effects of alopecia in education

Research Funding:

The 2021 Alopecia UK Research Funding Call is currently open to applications for research pots up to £20,000. Applications close on 14th May. Further details here.
