Saturday 28th September

We will have two event spaces, a kids event space and a teens event space.  Teens are welcome in both spaces.  Teens are also welcome to access the adult conference space. (Please be aware that with every child ticket an adults ticket must also be purchased).

Kids Event Space

Our kids event space will be staffed and managed by The Kings Foundation who will run a programme of activities throughout the day.    We have also booked in a Fun Science session as well as a Wonderful Me Doodle Workshop session.

This event space is aimed at hosting children with alopecia and their siblings, age 3-12 (teens age 13-17 are welcome to join in with these activities however will also have a separate room just for them - see below).  Spaces are limited and must be pre-booked (i.e. you can not show up and buy tickets on the door).

We will have a sign in system that enables parents to leave their children in our care and attend the rest of the conference.  Alternatively you can stay with your child for some or all of the day if you (or your child) prefers.

Teens Event Space

The teens event space is more of a breakout space.  It will have some comfy seating, Wii Games & music.  The idea being that the teens can start out in the kids event space and meet each other but then if they don't want to join in with activities (which we often find is the case) they can take off in to their own breakout space to chill out.  Additionally they can then also go and look round the rest of the event together.  I'm sure many will be interested in the Exhibition Hall.  Some of them might also want to go to some talks.  The main bit for the teens is enabling them to meet each other.  This can be a bit more difficult if they start out in the Adult Conference which is why we recommend them registering within the kids event space, joining in with that for a bit while everyone arrives so that everyone can meet each other, and then after that they can be a bit more independent (with parents permission) and access either the teens room or the rest of the conference.  Please note that the teens room will not necessarily be supervised at all times.

(Children age 17 & under with alopecia go free. Parents must also have a valid ticket)
