Following the charity merger of Alopecia UK and Helping Alopecia Trust (a Northern Ireland charity), we are keen to have lots of people from Northern Ireland join our Big Weekend event in Bristol, England from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th September 2019. 

As such, we're offering travel grants of up to £150 per adult with alopecia or a parent accompanying a child with alopecia can claim up to £300. 

Individuals wishing to take advantage of our Big Weekend 2019 NI travel grants will need to make their own travel arrangements and can then submit a claim using our Guidance Document and Claim Form. At the time of writing (7th August 2019), return flights from Belfast to Bristol for Big Weekend start from £59 return. 

Our Big Weekend event is made up of four individual events; Friday evening reception, Saturday daytime conference, Saturday buffet dinner and disco and Sunday daytime awareness walk. Attendees are able to take part in as little or as much of the event as they want but those wishing to claim travel assistance from Northern Ireland will need to purchase a Saturday daytime conference ticket as a minimum.
