Event details:

On Saturday 6th April 2024 we will be hosting our tenth weekend at the Alton Towers Theme Park in Staffordshire.
Anyone with any type of hair loss (along with family/friends) can join Alopecia UK for a day of fun, support and of course, rollercoasters! 

We are looking for a minimum of 18 volunteers.

Time commitment/Frequency:  Ahead of the event you will be required to attend one online video meeting to get to know the other volunteers, be briefed in more detail about the event and have the opportunity to ask any questions. (Exact date TBD).

You will be required to arrive at the Premier Inn in Uttoxeter on Friday 5th April by 8:30 pm for a volunteer team meeting.

You will be finished by 6 pm on Saturday 6th April and can either decide to head home or stay the Saturday night as well which usually very social and relaxed.

Please note this role requires an enhanced DBS check (for all) and a character reference check for all new volunteers.

What happens after I submit my application?

Once we receive your application a member of the team will contact you directly. Please note depending on the demand for volunteer spaces we may not be able to guarantee everyone a space. If you are not successful as one of the volunteers, then please do not be discouraged and do still come along to the actual day and meet everyone. Going along to events is often a good way to start getting more involved with the charity.
