I have had alopecia since I was 24. It started as alopecia areata and my patches varied in size over a number of years. Later on, it developed into alopecia totalis. For 16 years I chose to wear a wig but then on my 40th birthday, I decided to show all the world and have since spent every day wigless, only wearing a hat to protect her head from the sun or the cold and spreading awareness of alopecia. I love netball and badminton and have been an Alopecia UK volunteer for many years, I currently run the Birmingham Adults support group too! I look forward to meeting you all soon :) We are able to run this session for free, thanks to: Book a place Ticket Quantity Price Child (with alopecia) We don't have this quantity of tickets.
