Not having a good day today though. had a really itchy head so thought I'd wash it even though it didnt need it, just thought it would help stop itching, which it did, the only thing was half of what hair I had on my head has now came out too. I have big patch that I can not hide at middle back plus the other ones round sides the new ones at hair line at front (look like I've had horns removed from these 2) and sides are really noticeable too I have torn the house apart looking for hats, not that I suit them but need something now. I still have till the 20th to go for app with derm and still cant get a cancellation. I just want to cry now. my now 9 year old son came in bathroom while i was brushing hair and the sink was full of hair and he said oh mum has all that came out now? He knows what's wrong but I normally dont have him see the piles of hair, so he was a bit shocked seeing it.

This is really getting me down now and I just dont know how to cope with it now.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me from when you went to derm and got referred for wigs, how long does it take to get app for them?
